CNN: Arrest means guilt. Police will not make a mistake.

Another great moment on CNN. There was a guy and a girl discussing the arrest of a suspect. I don't know who they are.

Guy: Let's remember that arrest does not mean the person is guilty.
Girl: In a case like this they are not going to make a mistake.
Guy: It's happened before.
Girl: They learned their lesson. It will never happen again.

And I think she's right. The problem, however, is if some LEO knows someone maimed or killed might take matters into his/her own hands. Jack Ruby.

pressure being put on the police to make an arrest. What makes it less likely is that there will probably be video or photos that could clear/incriminate suspects.

She makes some salient points. I like her. And everytime you're thinking on your feet on live TV, you don't always say things perfectly, especially when paired with 2 other personalities.

the mindset of a near-majority in this country. That is something worth thinking about if you want to be chilled to the bone. Good Germans. We have tens of millions of them.
