The bomber is certainly not a coward.

cow·ard
noun
1. a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc.; a timid or easily intimidated person.
adjective
2. lacking courage; very fearful or timid.
3. proceeding from or expressive of fear or timidity: a coward cry.

Intentionally bringing a massive man hunt against yourself doesn't fit that definition.

The Stupid is strong on the board today.

Guy left a bag that blew up children and ran. That's not a coward?

No, that is not the definition of the word "coward." The word "monster" would be accurate, but certainly not "coward."

"a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc.; a timid or easily intimidated person.
adjective "

The douchebag left his bag and ran away from the crime scene before any chance of danger would occur to him/her.

That fits the definition of a coward to a tee.

The person intentially brought a massive man hunt against himself, assuming it was a man. That is not a cowardly act.
