Conspiracy Radio Host Alex Jones: U.S. Gov't Is "Prime Suspect" In Attack

Radio host and noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones responded to the bombings by suggesting that they may have been a "false flag" operation staged by the government:

In a special webcast on April 15, Jones expanded on the conspiracy, saying"You saw them stage Fast and Furious. Folks, they staged Aurora, they staged Sandy Hook. The evidence is just overwhelming. And that's why I'm so desperate and freaked out. This is not fun, you know, getting up here telling you this. Somebody's got to tell you the truth."

Meanwhile: Erick Rush attempted to use a bit of humor to lighten the mood.

WND Columnist Erik Rush's Attempt At "Sarcasm": Kill All Muslims In Response To Attack

Shortly following the bombings, WND columnist and occasional Fox News guest Erik Rush tweeted:

BUT WAIT: No crazy right wing media roundup would be complete without a word from radio host Laura Ingram.

Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham suggested on her radio show that the bombing "raises all sorts of questions," including about the current debate over immigration reform:

INGRAHAM: This, in my mind, raises all sorts of questions. I mean, again, we don't know who did this, motivations, all of that. But it is interesting that at this moment -- we are considering legalizing or giving regularized status to millions of people. Pretty much none of them have gone through any rigorous background checks, to have a temporary status in the United States. And we don't -- I just think that there are all sorts of security implications aside from the other arguments on immigration -- national security implications that we don't talk about with enough frankness and I think certitude here. We can't stop every attack, but my goodness, if we had borders that were shut down and we actually had a proper screening process, maybe we could stop some of them.

I sad it last night that you could tell the difference between the media outlets that were covering this story. On MSNBC for example, Rachel Maddow - who covered the attack from Mass General looked like she could barely stand up and you could see the anguish, not anger, in her voice. It was difficult to watch. Then you look at Faux News and Hannity covering the events and he almost had a smirk on his face. Hannity and people like him love covering tragedies like this because their ratings go up and means more money for their pockets. That is why they have to keep the "fire of anger" well stoked.

Remember when Cenk debated him after Jones was yelling non stop on Piers Morgan show?

But wow he is just one sick fuck. Jones has evolved to full blown psycho after doing his info wars thing to look macho and make up for getting cut from varsity football.

I've always known Ingraham and any world nut daily writer to be cranks.

Laura Ingraham: "But it is interesting that at this moment -- we are considering legalizing or giving regularized status to millions of people. We can't stop every attack, but my goodness, if we had borders that were shut down and we actually had a proper screening process, maybe we could stop some of them."

Interesting she said this: "We can't stop every attack, but...maybe we could stop some of them."

But when it comes to background checks prior to buying guns she is among those who say unequivocally that since criminals and those who should not have guns do not follow the law there is no need for background checks.

Is she saying it is acceptable for Americans with guns to kill other Americans, but unacceptable for foreigners with bombs to kill Americans (of course we do not yet know who carried out the Boston bombing)?

And if background checks help decrease the number of bomb makers why wouldn't they help decrease the number of illegal gun purchasers?
