Tagg Romney slams ‘cowardly act’

Tagg Romney said Tuesday that whoever is behind the Boston bombings “messed with wrong people.”

“Bostonians are resilient. They’re going to come together. They messed with the wrong people. There’s going to be a period of grief, I’m sure there will be some anger. And we’re going to want to figure out how to keep this from happening again — not just here but all over the country,” the oldest son of 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said on CNN.

“It’s such a cowardly act — whoever did this. Then you see the warmth of the first responders, and the people around who rushed to the scene. Such a contrast to their bravery,” Romney said on CNN. “It just really is a family event. And it’s the best of Boston. It’s wonderful to see how people have been responding and how people are pulling together.”

The Boston-area businessman added: “It’s a wonderful state and family’s very strong here and I think this will actually end up bringing us closer together.”

I, for one, feel better for having gotten the perspective of a non-Elected Official, non-candidate, non-military, non-First Responder. It adds so much to my understanding.

8. It sounds like it's basically the same perspective we're getting from the elected officials,

CNN put him on tv because they know who he is, he was actually at the marathon, and they had to fill time. They couldn't cut away from the story, but they had less than 2 minutes of actual information. Why politico thought it was worth repeating is still beyond me.
