In my mind that if muslims are behind the bombings in Boston then its open season. You look muslim, sorry but youre dead. Open carry and dead right there. If youre not then a sign is required, beyond that bang-o so sad you middle eastern POS.
Dont like the way I think? Show me whats different from the way these animals think. It is zero my friend. Kill them before they kill you.

(1,277 posts)Murdoch's rag (which is a print version of Fox News) has already been caught red handed pushing that meme only to have it debunked by the Boston Police.
They are DESPERATE for this to be a muslim.

(1,277 posts)But I see plenty of "lets wait for the facts" posts as well so that viewpoint is well represented.

(14,554 posts)there is a huge freaking difference between "hoping" that the shooter was a tea partier and saying that if the shooter is of a certain religion or ethnic group you will shoot them on sight.
I am tired of these posts about "DU is just like freeperville." I am sorry it is bullshit. I am not calling anyone one specific poster out or at least I am not trying to do that, but the people who believe this line of crap should get a reality check. Yes many people on DU have speculated that a right wing group may have done this, it may in fact be true, then again maybe it is not true. And speculation is always going to happen. It is human nature. But I haven't seen one single post from a DU member stating we should shoot white people who look like they might be tea-baggers are white supremacists.
TroglodyteScholar
(5,477 posts)...but it's pretty striking the willingness some here show to make a snap judgment about who is responsible. And when this is done on either site, it's often done not just without regard for facts--rather with an attitude that openly conveys a contempt for anyone who would prefer to have something on which to base a conclusion.
npk
(3,660 posts)And people should refrain from saying that a tea-partier, pro-gun group or white supremacist group was behind the bombing in Boston, and to be clear I wish people would. But then again this is going to happen and in some regards there isn't much we can do about it. As long as people on DU are not making posts or threads where they are threatening a certain group of people, and I don't believe that is happening.

(37,748 posts)However, I don't think the speculation on DU that it is indeed a tea-bagger also comes with "open-season" proclamations.
Rather a dramatic difference, yes? Or do we merely entertain false equivalences to more efficiently advertise an implication...?

As a teenager Rudolph was taken by his mother to a Church of Israel compound in 1984; it is connected to the Christian Identity movement.[2]
He has called himself a Roman Catholic in "the war to end this holocaust" (in reference to abortion).[3]
He has confirmed religious motivation, but denied racial motivation for his crimes.[4]

In my opinion, open season has just been declared on any and all muslim looking men an women. I am pretty sure if we put a few hundred of the sandn**gers down this crap will stop, but not until then. They target random people, we tartget random muslims and this thing will go away. If we had a government with balls who had nuked their holy places, mecca, medina, etc., this crap would not be happening.
