I think this is the last weekend to opt out and sue in small claims ct v.Honda for their lies. 2/11

deadline. Heather won you know. What bugs me is I thought there was no appeal from jdgmnts in small claims and Honda is states they are going to appeal. 10K v. 100 rebate for purchase of another lie? Opt out if you own one.

So...she sues over not getting good enough mileage, and it's not about mileage? jeff47 Feb 2012 #5

The EPA had a problem. How do you estimate mileage in a hybrid? Because how exactly it is driven makes a massive difference in mileage. Stop-n-go gives great mileage, but cruising around at 30 gives much worse. So the EPA came up with a formula to estimate mileage. Honda plugged their car into that formula.

Turns out the formula was wrong. The EPA has since changed their formula. But Honda didn't make the formula.

You wouldn't want to bother explaining what you think it's about. That would allow other people in on your secret knowledge. Better keep claiming it's about some vague 'other reason'.

software (firmware) loaded into the car's whatever due to battery damage which caused or further reduced mileage obtainable yet advertised, thus also reducing resale value, in a nutshell. You don't have to act like such a dick.

honda can not be held liable for misleading this woman about the mpg. her car was one of the worse cars honda has made in years. she was given a crappy deal from honda and she turned that down. i`ve noticed that this model of honda is dirt cheap compared to the gasoline engine cars. if the guys in japan would have been smart they should have bought back or done a better job in fixing the problem.

my family has had 9 us assembled honda accords, several crx and delsols, and civics over the last 20 yrs. they have their problems but we would`t drive anything else
