Easier to jeer at the left, and then expect the left to fall in line.
Raise the cap.
Close the loopholes.

without destroying the program. I think that any changes to SS that Obama makes* will be positive and not the "end times" scenario that some on the left are wailing about. I come by this belief because of the character of Obama and most Democrats and not because of deification of the person.

* That said, I do not think any changes will be made.

there's just too much money sloshing around there and a little innocent trim is reasonable. Huh. So is this a bluff or something he wants? I guess the talking points are getting muddled.

I'm sure you won't mind sacrificing so that the budget can be balanced in 8 years or so...Just in time for another republican to give out more tax breaks to the rich. Rinse and repeat!
