(41,694 posts)If it was immediately and excruciatingly painful to the stupid there would be a lot less of it.

(22,336 posts)Or abortion wouldn't be relevant.
I'd be wondering how the fetus got the gun. And then aborting before it had advanced enough to be able to fire it.
That bumper sticker has to be a joke. It's so funny that I want one. With a picture of a fetus with a gun.

(16,993 posts)Baby somehow learns that Mom is considering an abortion...somehow gets a gun...then kills Mom, and itself?
What crazy sick person thought this one up? (The fact that a Republican thinks this is good enough to run as a campaign bumper sticker says loads about why they shouldn't be re-elected.)

(This has to be a joke, right? A spoof site? Satire? Hacking?)

Silly, sure, but not much sillier than the quote in the OP.

(5,842 posts)Screw voter ID requirements at the polls.
What I want is for people who run for any elective office to prove that they are actually serious about serving in government vs. trying to be the next RW media darling.

(25,938 posts)Assuming that a fetus possessed the cognitive abilities required for self-determination, would it even desire to be born into a world in which its own mother who didn't even want it? According to research I saw referenced in the film version of Freakonomics, the downturn in crime that began in the early 1990s is more attributable to the legalization of abortion following Roe v. Wade in 1973 than any other factor. Seems that the products of unwanted pregnancies - with or without a gun to protect themselves in the womb - are more likely to wield guns in the commission of crimes a few years later.
