2. He is an awful host, isn't he?

I keep waiting for one of his guests to get completely exasperated and yell, "If you're just going to talk over me, why did you invite me on your show in the first place? You're obviously not interested in anything I have to say because you won't let me get a fucking word in edgewise!"

He's yelled @ Tweety "Let me finish my point please!" a few times of late.

3. I really don't understand why he has a show and why he gets a rerun during prime time.

He really is irrelevant and not even entertaining to watch. I wish no one would watch him and maybe he might be forced to go into retirement or on to Fox News.

8. The rerun has bothered me for years. Why MSNBC Why? Is it dinner time at 30 Rock?

and union rules say you can't put a fresh new hour show in that slot?
I just don't get it.
Does it kill in the ratings their?
Then why do the earlier show?
It's gotta be about saving money overall.

4. He yells too much. Talks over people.

As a former court reporter, I've had to stop lawyers and witnesses in court from doing that. Stop, raise my hands from my stenograph machine, and say firmly, "ONE at a time, Counsel!".

I could strangle people that talk over each other. However, it's illegal.

Can't stand it when Bill Maher's guests get in a shouting match.

Seems that they deliberately have 2 or 3 guests on a show just so they talk all at once and nobody can hear what any of them are saying. I guess that's like singers who nobody can understand.

If they wanted somebody to hear what they had to say, wouldn't they enunciate?

I'd never watch but for friend who . . . darn . . . I don't know why he wants to try to listen to the idiot. Friend will be out of town next week, and I'll have that much less aggravation in the air!

Schtick comes with a price sometimes.

11. His only interest in issues is what effect they will have on future elections
Thu Apr 11, 2013, 08:11 PM
Apr 2013

He frames everything in terms of simplistic labels like "liberal v. conservative" or "red v. blue".

And he discusses things like gun control not in terms of how they will affect ordinary Americans but what impact will they have on congressional or persidential elections in the future.

He reminds me of one of those geeky kids who couldn't even throw a baseball yet can recite the batting averages of every major league player for the past ten years.

He pisses me off more than O'Reilly or any of the other wingnut TV pundits. So I don't watch him. But sometimes my wife forgets to turn off the TV after Martin Bashir and I can hear him from the other room.
