Glenn Beck: Obama might create a ‘monarchy’ and start decapitating Americans

Conservative radio host Glenn Beck on Wednesday blasted President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for attending a tribute to Memphis soul at the White House and said it was sign of a coming “monarchy” that could result in Americans being beheaded.

“Let them eat cake,” Beck said as his displayed a photoshopped painting of the heads of the Obamas on the bodies of King Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, who were beheaded during the French Revolution. “It kind of looks like them doesn’t it?”

“I have a feeling we’re headed for a monarchy,” he warned. “Because we have forgotten the principles of maximum liberty and maximum personal responsibility, which in time, always ends — if you are like Europe — it ends in a French Revolution.”

“But maybe it doesn’t end this way. Maybe this time, maybe Marie-Antoinette and King Louis keep their heads, while all of their subjects lose theirs. One way to make sure that doesn’t happen is to stand up for your Second Amendment rights.”

Just pick one word magnet from each group, and before long, you end up with Obama Monarchy Decapitation. It could just as easily have been Obama establishing Caliphate to usher in Sharia Law, or Obama Crushes Puppies for the Illuminati.

It's not surprising that there are shifty little bastards like Beck out there willing to bilk his listeners. The really disappointing thing is that he actually has listeners, and they pay to listen to him these days. These must be the same people who can't find the Pacific Ocean on a globe but can find Jesus in their toast.

Considering that it seems impossible to even get the AWB to pass in the Senate let alone the House, I have no fear that Obama will be proclaimed as King anytime in the future.

What I do fear is that this type of irresponsible talk could lead some "Patriots" to feel that now is the time to water the tree of liberty with their blood. If that were to happen, our elected representatives in Congress might pass extremely strong gun control with good reason.

Throwing gasoline on a simmering fire can be a very foolish idea.
