So now Republicans are the saviours and guardians of SS?

Ryan, never ever spoke of privatizing?

Ok...lets assume that Ryan never said anything about privatizing SS, and the Reps are totally going to bomb Obama over this and try to position themselves as the saviours of SS.

Now that they have publicly made that stand......What if Obama withdraws that item from the table because of the public outcry? Would the Republicans dare to try and put it back on the table? Would they dare to vote to reduce or dismantle anything to do with SS?

Just how would this play out?
