More gun violence - GA man holds firefighters hostage

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. —

Gwinnett County police officials have confirmed a barricaded gunman was shot and killed around 7:30 p.m. The gunman had been holding five Gwinnett County firefighters hostage Wednesday afternoon.

snip....

Fire officials told Kavanaugh the man faked a heart attack to get them to the home. It is unclear what motivated the gunman to hold the firefighters hostage.

The house was foreclosed on in November.

Seems pretty clear what motivated him. Hope they don't discover that his house was stolen by some bank.

But, I really don't get the firefighters thing. Why, them?

I know it's desperation, and little makes sense to people when in desperate times, but firefighters never did anything wrong to this man.

so people attack whoever they can get to show up. It's tragic but there is so much unfairness on this planet that the rivers should be overflowing with tears.

The hopelessness that's behind so much of the violence.

Crap.

Hope you're well!
