.................
GOP strategist Karl Rove ventured into hostile territory on Tuesday night, delivering a speech repeatedly interrupted by boisterous protesters at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
According to CBS 3, the demonstrations raged both inside the auditorium and out, and Rove had barely begun speaking before people began standing up and shouting Rove down with accusations that his guidance of former President George W. Bush on the Iraq War had led to countless American and Iraqi casualties.
Calls of "murderer" and "terrorist" rained down on Rove, while others held signs that read "war criminal." Rove faced a similar confrontation by opponents in 2010, when demonstrators actually forced Rove to abandon a book signing in California.

(16,993 posts)In a just world, he and his cronies would be investigated, prosecuted, and jailed for their war crimes.
We were lied to. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, there were no WMDs, and Iraq was not a threat to the United States. This was just a "good ole boy" deal gone bad, and Bushco decided to take care of it Texas style, at the expense of the American taxpayers and our troops.
Why in the hell was Rove even booked to speak? He's a liar at best, why would anyone but the most ignorant Kool-Aid drinker care what he has to say?

(15,774 posts)Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Martin Luther King would never go to jail and Karl Rove, George Bush, and Richard Nixon would have never seen the light of day after their crimes.

It gives him something to say on Fox...."Oh... the crazies are after me, so I know I must be right."

(10,271 posts)go google Rove's Leather Slave, by the Rudepundit. There are multiple articles pertaining to such, and the time index relative to what was happening politically when they were written will help in understanding them, but NO ONE does mean quite like the Rude One.
If you have a hard stomach, you will quite enjoy them, I'm sure lol.

(12,504 posts)...that honestly and truly thing they can go back out into the public and be embraced...as if all is fogotten. These demonstrators have proven otherwise. Good for them!!!
Clearly, Sanford is hoping for the same type of short term political memory....lol

(11,076 posts)Our group protested as he crawled into town. The local college kids PAID him to speak.
As we stood on the corner with our signs some young passerby asked who Karl Rove was. We told them they better rush to educate themselves.
I vowed that day to never let him come to town without a welcome committee!
Let him hear what people think of him. He will probably say he doesn't care, but it still could not be a good experience.

(81,265 posts)EVERYWHERE! I want protestors coming out of the faucets in every bathroom of every hotel room in which he's booked. I want them jumping out of his cup of coffee every morning. I want them looking back at him from EVERY mirror he glances into. I want protestors in EVERY window, hounding him til he breathes his last. Like piles of gum under his shoes. I want him hobbled by this, unable to take a single step, from coast-to-coast AND beyond our borders. Until his last miserable day on this planet. And then we'll follow his damned carcass to its grave where the worms and microbes can get at him and have their way with him on our behalf.
Not a SINGLE HOUR of peace for you, you bastard, for the rest of your detestable life.

Thanks Andy, Why are Bush, Rice, Cheney..et al. Not in a cage, guilty. Awaiting death by lethal injection? We are the only western country that does not prosecute war criminals. America will never be a great country until we try, convict, and execute the monsters responsible for Iraq. I repeat. MONSTERS!
