Johnson was going to make an announcement in '68 that the Vietnam war would be ending.

One of these assholes called the South Vietnam Ambassador and convinced him to say "No" to Johnson's plan to end the war. Instead we got "Peace With Honor".

"Fighting For Peace" and "Peace With Honor" is like "Fucking For Virginity" IMO.

To spite his best efforts Nixon could not be as dishonest as George W Bush.
To spite their best efforts Nixon and Agnew were petty crooks compared to what the Romney/Ryan team would have pulled off.

At least on health care and social safety net, he makes a good case that Thatcher was to the left of most US politicians.
