Carter and Bush Sr both born in 1924. Clinton and Bush Jr both born in 1946

Anyone ever notice this before?

Sorta strange that both Bushes were older than the previous president that was born in the same year that they were.


George H.W. Bush is a tad older than Jimmy Carter - but Carter was president first.

Bush Sr.: June 12, 1924
Carter: October 1, 1924


And George W. Bush is a tiny bit older that Bill Clinton - but Clinton was president first.

Bush Jr: July 6, 1946
Clinton: August 19, 1946

2. Nixon and Ford were both born in 1913.

Nixon: January 9, 1913
Ford: July 14, 1913

Unlike the other examples though, Nixon was six months older than Ford and was president first.

Over dinner earlier in the evening we had been discussing the topic of who is the oldest living president and that was why I went to look up Bush and Carter in the first place - and noticed W and Clinton too.

Grant was the second youngest upon his election while Hayes was one of the older ones.
