Where The GOP Is In Control You Get The Idea Of What Germany Was Like Under Nazi Rule

Except they are not yet tattooing gays. All you have to do is look at states where they effectively have control of the legislatures and governorships.

I've known people who lived under Nazi rule in Germany, and for you to be making such a comparison is an insult to every person who did live under Nazi rule.

You have no clue as to what you're talking about, just simply using bad hyperbole to make a point.

As backward their ideas are, the Republican Party hasn't started enacting racial discrimination laws, or killing 6 million+ people over the course of 12 years. They haven't done that since their founding and they aren't doing it now. As whacky as they are, comparing them to Nazis is perhaps the worst comparison that you can make to anyone.

in the equivalent of extreme physical abuse on a mass scale.

The Right's crime so far amounts to extreme psychological and verbal abuse on a mass scale. A far more subtle and difficult abuse to fight and defeat because the world isn't seeing dead bodies yet. You have to catch someone in a crime before you can take action, without being taken for the brute, and remove them permenantly.

In terms of submitting a culture to prolonged pure mental and verbal torture, in that one respect, The Right has outlasted and surpassed the Nazi's.

The Right has large portions of America's citizenry in a Concentration Camp of the Spirit.

What does that even mean? And what do you mean by "psychological and verbal abuse on a wide scale"? Examples, if you will.

I despise the wingnut right, but they're playing to their base in many states; that's why they control so many state legislatures- the majority of the electorate in those places agree with their wingnuttery. I agree the wingnut right is dangerous, but not for the same reasons you do.
