Wednesday's blue plate special: Guns and booze

Well, I know one Virginia eatery I'll be avoiding. Booze and guns... what a swell combo!

Guns & Gumbo: Leesburg Restaurant Encourages Customers To Open Carry

(excerpt)
Walk into the Cajun Experience on Loudoun Street in downtown Leesburg on a Wednesday night, you are sure to be greeted with a smile and the smell of authentic food from the Mississippi Delta.

Glance down around the customers’ waists, and you will likely see a firearm.

This is Open Carry Wednesday, the day at the New Orleans-style eatery when patrons are encouraged to bring their licensed firearms, and they’ll get a 10 percent discount on their meals...

...For now, the Cajun food-eating public seems to have largely embraced it. Crosswhite has a sign hanging near the bar where patrons often have their pictures taken. It reads “Guns are welcome on the premises. Please keep all firearms holstered unless the need arises. In such case, judicious marksmanship is greatly appreciated by all!”

6. Glad you seem to agree all 50 states should have the same laws as NYC.

Wish Mike Bloomberg started his campaign 20 years ago.

The democratic candidate wins like in California, Maine and Chicago. for example.

Early birds get the worm.

I know those that back the SCOTUS that ruled 5 to 4 hate Bloomberg or any other person like Joe Biden and Gabbie Giffords that want to do something about guns.

The NRA is dead.
wave on wave on wave on wave on wave
The last wave wins.

too bad all the kiddies die while the NRA keeps the blackmail going.

tata
gotta go to the gym and practice wellness.

other rebels can have their 48 ounce sodas, and 7000 calorie triple whoppers.

BTW, Bill Clinton was amazingly enough, the first wellness president to serve 2 terms. President Obama is second. Hillary will be 3rd.

Bill had an amazing change of lifestyle as everyone should.

Ditch the guns
Ditch the bullets
Ditch the 48 ounce sodas, (actually 16 should be tops)
Ditch the fried food
Ditch the hatred against the Great Equalizer

and relax the mind.

Wellness rules
Guns and bullets in the hands of private citizens kill.

Have a good early afternoon here in NYC area.

Yep, if you want to be served at this restaurant, check your smokes at the door. Want a drink, make sure you have an I.D. proving you're of age. But if you're packing a gun -- well hell, come on in and get a discount! No checking to see if you have a license for that gun, or that you've been trained to handle it, or even if you have the safety engaged. So come on in, Rambo, and drink up. But for heaven's sake, don't ever yell "fire!", even if smoke is billowing from the kitchen. Someone might misconstrue....

- and they're not the first or only restaurant for this. Just the first to announce it and give it a specific day. Another restaurant a few towns over regularly has a group of persons who open carry come in for dinner a few times a year. Been going on for years. No incidents to date.
