Former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez now a right wing radio host?

This is what former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez (who went down for dissing Jon Stewart and making Jewish power conspiracy talk) is doing now: afternoon drive-time host at Miami radio station WIOD, also the local Rush Limbaugh affiliate. His show seems to be right wing, as I'm looking thru his blog entries and he's citing Daily Caller (who can trust 'em anymore after they made shit up about Sen. Menendez?), Fox News, the Daily Mail, Newsbusters, etc.

And in this segment from March 22, Sanchez called Chris Matthews and Phil Donahue "extreme liberals" and at 2:40 called MSNBC a network that is "there to serve Master Obama and every other liberal cause." From what I'm listening on the podcasts Sanchez has a poor delivery and show structure.

Was Sanchez a good or bad reporter at CNN? And what do you think of his latest career move?

Like... he thought Japan was just off the coast of Peru or something?

That's all I remember about him. Generic news reader who occasionally tried to freestyle, to hilarious effect.

Ah-- here we go. He thought Hawaii was just off the coast of Peru.

Sanchez defended Stewart from his viewers once after a particularly biting bit from Stewart in, what I thought at the time, a commendable display of good sportism, calling him "my friend." But then he just lost it on the radio soon after. I guess his own right wing politics got the best of him.
