Uh-Oh Brits spill torture beans

British troops recount human rights abuses at US detention facility in Iraq
British soldiers and airmen tell of prisoners brought in by SAS and SBS snatch squads being hooded and given electric shocks

British soldiers and air personnel who helped to operate a secretive US detention facility in Baghdad that was at the centre of some of the most serious human-rights abuses to occur in Iraq after the invasion have, for the first time, spoken about abuses they witnessed there.

Members of two RAF squadrons and one Army Air Corps squadron were given guard and transport duties at the secret prison, the Guardian has established. Many of the detainees were brought to the facility by snatch squads formed from Special Air Service and Special Boat Service squadrons. The abuses the soldiers and airmen say they saw included:

•?Iraqi prisoners being held for prolonged periods in cells the size of large dog kennels.

•?Prisoners being subjected to electric shocks.

•?Prisoners being routinely hooded.

•?Inmates being taken into a sound-proofed shipping container for interrogation, and emerging in a state of physical distress.

3. Joining Bush and Cheney in the dock.....

Perhaps Tony Blair should be joining Bush and Cheney in the dock at the Hague for the war crimes they are responsible for. After WW II WE were the good guys, who were trying to to assure that these types of things would never happened again. We executed Japanese officers after the war for torture that included water-boarding!

But leave it to two draft dodgers and a Brit with no "profile in courage" to become what the Allies used to stand against. It sickens me that so many people don't care about the war crimes of Bush, Cheney, and Blair.

We're republicans and we can do whatever we shit-well please. Apologies are for poosies.

And by the way, we doubt that Pontius Pilate and the other supposed anti-Christs were liberals.

in the world. Yet his war mongering and his paintings will live on and remind people of the worst president in history. Guess his kids will think the same thing and their children too. Famous for being related to the biggest loser in modern history. People didn't think anyone could top Nixon, then Reagan came along, then Herbert. Poppy got to play POTUS 'Cheney Style' for 12 years. I think his son is worser.

Then again, what do I know we will all be dead.
