3 million Vietnamese deserve to be mourned, reflected on, and discussed for ages and ages and ages in the US because that is what we/you did. I don't see that happening. Same thing with the atomic bombs.
So while one does not excuse the other, I will ALWAYS take the opportunity to remind anyone that doesn't give it enough thought that slicing a pig in half is about as far away from killing 3 million people as the distance between Hoboken and Alpha Centauri.
THAT is the connection. Relativity.
