Each sewing circle has four people in it.
Group A: All members were born in the US, live in the same apartment complex, and go to the same church. One member is white, one is black, one is yellow, and one is brown. (Diversity of skin color.)
Group B: All members are white. One is from the US, one is from Germany, one is from Sweden, and one is from South Africa. (Diversity of culture.)
Group C: All members are white and live in the same apartment complex. One member is Christian, one is atheist/skeptic, one is Buddhist, and one is pagan. (Diversity of philosophy.)

(8,543 posts)How can we assure that there is adequate sewing circle diversity of the proper type in this world? That's what I would like to know. What should we do?

(11,619 posts)they share socio economic class, neighborhood, and certainly are at least distantly acquainted. The group with the greatest difference are those from different nations, cultures, and language background that have no real relationship, at least from the data given. If we are only rating the different forms of diversity against each other, then they are equally diverse. I chose to look at all the differences in the data.
