(12,126 posts)Our teacher announced and I think most of us burst into tears... as far as I know, none of my class mates had any immediate brothers in the conflict. It was just such a relief.

(39,215 posts)from people who were in the process of adopting children from Vietnam and wanted to know if they could get them out earlier than planned. Immigrations had not finished processing many of the cases and we were working to get this expedited. In the end it was not only our troops but some 2000 babies also came in their own plane.
