I had to go to my primary care physician for prescription renewals yesterday and as usual, they had their FOXBox on in the waiting room...just like every other day. (I waited in another room so I didn't have to listen to that drivel.) Today I received an email survey and while all my responses were good and indicated I was pleased with their service, I did make a written comment in general. Here's what I sent.
"The outter waiting room has a TV that is always tuned to FOX News and I find this most annoying if not insulting. Thank goodness I'm allowed to wait in the inner waiting room (at my personal request). With so many other choices available, one has to assume that (name of office deleted for DU) is trying to make a political statement by showing this particular programming and that is totally inappropriate as well as disheartening."
I do what I can.

(45,274 posts)I think it helps. I complained at one small-chain restaurant (Not McD), and perhaps others did as well. No more Fo there.
Any place that has a suggestion box is perfectly set up for this kind of action.
