Monday Child Shooting Review - 5 and under edition

Here is just some of the gun violence involving children 5 and under from only the past week (3/17--3/24) that you should be aware of, and which will hopefully motivate you to join the American Academy of Pediatrics and others who are advocating for ways to keep our kids safe.

• A 1 year-old boy was shot in the street.

• A 4 year-old boy shot himself in his home.

• A 2 year-old boy was shot in his home, by his uncle.

• A 5 year-old boy was shot in his home, with his mother's handgun.

• A 2 year-old boy was shot, along with his mother, at home.

• Another 2 year-old boy and his mother were shot, at home.

• A 3 year-old boy was shot at home.

• A 5 year-old boy, his sister and mother were shot at home.

• A 2 year-old boy shot himself at home.

Please, visit the new Gun Control Reform Activism Group for more information about how DUers are working to stop gun violence.

Apologies, I ran out of time for the usual Sunday review. Here's to a better week.
