Rochester, NY Police officer Tells Rape Victim, "Blow me, wh*re"

Kristen Walker and her boyfriend James had stopped at the 7 Eleven on Emerson St. near her home in Rochester, NY to buy some scratch-off lottery tickets early Wednesday morning, March 6, 2013 around 1:00 a.m.

That's when both Rochester Police cruisers pulled them over, in front of 189 Santee Street.

Kristen rolled her window down and handed her i.d. to the officer on her side, and asked the officer, whom she described as tall, about 6' 2" with salt and pepper hair, why they had been pulled over.

The officer responded "None of your fucking business, we don't have to have a fucking reason to stop you."

"Well, to make a traffic stop you have to have a reason", Kristen said to the officer.

The officer replied "Yeah?, you smart ass little bitch, get the fuck out of the car."

Then, as Kristen went to step out, the officer grabbed her by her arm, twisting it behind her back.

At this time, Kristen told the officer that she suffered from PTSD as a result of having been raped in 2007, and that she did not feel comfortable with the officer grabbing her like that.

The officer laughed.

This *IS* the Rochester Police Department.

There is no level of professional conduct exhinited by a majority of the officers that disgrace the streets of Rochester, New York.

damned department needs to go. what I read was heartbreaking and sickening. if true, there is no difference between them and thugs on the street. thugs, at least, are thugs. their motto is not "to protect and serve". I remember as a child being told, "if you are ever in trouble, try to find a policeman. the police are your friends". if that was ever true, it certainly isn't now.

The whole department needs to be investigated. This kind of police ASSAULT needs to be stopped. Every second of a police stop should be clearly recorded and we wouldn't have disputes like this.

I'm not saying that this isn't true, but I'm not saying it's real either.

I won't address your last 2 paragraphs because I didn't insinuate and don't believe any of those strawman arguments. I'm not defending the cops, saying that things like this never happen, saying that this is fake, or saying the cable news is better, so to try and defend against those accusations would be silly.

When the story about the asteroid in Russia came out awhile back I was surprised that so many people had dashcams. An article I read said that one reason was to record the corrupt cops. After the third police brutality story I've read just tonight, I'm thinking that's not a bad idea.
