(14,177 posts)First thing I thought of was this off brand tomato soup I bought one time. It was really awful more water than tomato it was so tomato free it was pink. Anyway I went back to the name brand after that and usually I don't care if the food is a generic label, but it was really that horrid. So, Republicans are like that, really bad watered down tomato soup, like austerity in a can. No matter what label you put on it, it is still pink tomato soup.
