Why does the GOP want to increase the number of unwanted children in this country?

I remember when Roe v. Wade was new and the ongoing national conversation included very valid questions about "unwanted children". Never hear that term anymore.

1. The more people in competition for jobs, the lower the wage$

4. Based on a conversation with a fundy at my last job,

I'd say that unwanted children are punishment for fornication. (Not my belief.) That's really why they are so against birth control and terminating a pregnancy.
