You want to fight them, expect the ACLU to fight back.
Here in RI, we had a 15 year old serial killer (murdered a woman when he was 13, and a woman and her daughters when he was 15) who was going to get out when he was 21. Fortunately, measures have been taken (and honestly, probably not on the up and up) to keep him locked up. The ACLU of course is up in arms about it, and has been for years.
Do I care, and do many other Rhode Islanders care? Nope. Does that make me a bad liberal? So be it. He is a threat to society and should remain in jail. Unfortunately, you have to be a real monster for the laws to get changed.
