It’s Monday, Truthseekers, and we start a fresh, new spring-like week with a fresh, new string of startling news stories to send us ducking back under the covers.
Did you catch any of the CPAC convention coverage? Need any more proof that the conservative “movement” is chock-a-block with a veritable can of mixed nuts that make Todd “legitimate rape” Akin look like the president of Mensa?
From Sarah Palin’s porn-hair and suggestive slurping on a BIG GULP soda (take that, Bloomberg!), to Rand Paul’s straw-poll win – despite his Ayn Rand-inspired disdain for government itself – to the strange inclusion of walking hair-flap and birther moonbat Donald Trump, who delivered a cringe-worthy racist rant calling for more white immigrants because they won’t vote for Democrats like the minorities will. The only thing missing was Glen Beck’s giant white board. Guess he’s too mainstream for this kooky cluster of knuckle-draggers.
You have to admit, it’s cheap entertainment, watching the GOP slouch toward self-inflicted extinction.
And speaking of extinction-level-events, how dangerous is the nuclear threat from the current North Korean madman?
As The Nation reports: Nuclear-armed North Korea has a ballistic missile that could hit the United States, the leading lawmaker on the US House of Representatives intelligence committee warned Sunday.
Congressman Mike Rogers also raised concern that North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-Un is trying to prove himself to his military and that Washington could not be sure of his “stability.” “They certainly have a ballistic missile that can reach US shores,” Rogers told the CNN news network, without specifying whether he was referring to the more exposed US states of Alaska and Hawaii or to America’s west coast.
“You have a 28-year-old leader who is trying to prove himself to the military, and the military is eager to have a saber rattling for their own self-interest, and the combination of that is proving to be very, very deadly.”

spiderpig is one of the few living humans who enjoys going to the dentist. I have the best dental office in the US and went in for my semi-annual today. My choppers are all buffed and gleaming.
As if they needed an endorsement in addition to mine, this office at one time officially took care of the Oakland Raiders!!!

Simon escaped the other day, to the next yard! I was freaking out. Had to pound on the neighbor's door late at night.
I wonder if he remembered he used to live there?The kids thank you and the gang for the smooches and s! You tell Simon he's in trouble! He probably does remember his old stomping ground!
but we can't figure out any other way. He's such a land lubber and he's too fat to get under the gate.

now that Talk Radio 1230 KJFK has changed to an AM simulcast of an FM RAP MUSIC station (of "Swag 104.9" . Of all the format changes to progressive talk stations...usually to sports, religion, or non-English programming...changing to RAP is the STUPIDEST format change ever!
At least there's the Progressive Voices channel.
