I also hope that other breast cancer charities benefit with funds removed from Susan G. Komen. Women's health is not a political basketball despite right wingers attempting to make it so!!

According to filings, Susan G. Komen contributed roughly $680,000 to just 19 of Planned Parenthood’s 85 affiliates across the country. A wealthy couple in Texas, Amy and Lee Fikes, have reportedly pledged $250,000 to the organization upon hearing the news of Komen’s decision. And if the women raising hell online start putting their money where their mouths are, it seems a safe bet they’ll quickly recoup any Pink Ribbon losses.
