This tactic is being played out regularly. Trap peaceful protesters, use provocative aggressive tactics (tear gas, flash bangs, jabbing with clubs, pulling people out from the crowd for no reason, unjust arrests) and then go whine to the MSM that the protesters were mean.

Great video. by the way.

crystal clear what the Police were doing there, surrounding and attacking peaceful protesters. I guess they didn't guess they'd push down the fence to free themselves.

The protestors, with no where to escape police violence, knocked down a fence opposite where the police were attacking in order to get away.

So when you see concerned posters on DU showing pictures of a fence being knocked down, please be aware of what really happened.

He was not a supporter of OWS but rather just a bystander who happens to live in the area.

The police were acting incorrectly.

But their actions will get them lots of overtime pay in these economically difficult times. The protesters get beat up but the police officers make their mortgage payments.

You can't deny that OWS is helping the police. It is. Ironic, but undeniable. The police are benefiting the most from the OWS movement thus far.
