Wisconsin man banned from all libraries on earth
RACINE, Wis. (AP) -
A 20-year-old Racine man who's accused of engaging in lewd behavior in a library has been banned from "all the libraries on the face of the earth."
Tyree S. Carter is charged with misdemeanor counts of lewd behavior and disorderly conduct. He's due in court next month for a pre-trial conference.
A Journal Times of Racine report says Carter is accused of lewd behavior in the Racine Public Library last week. A witness told investigators Carter was out in the open, not trying to conceal his act.
The criminal complaint says he apologized to responding police officers.

(13,770 posts)I happen to be a library professional, and I've heard stories of people bopping thier balonies (or even having sex in the stacks) in public libraries, heck The campus cops at my alma mater busted a guy pulling his goalie in the library one day, and I remember laughing my ass off when I saw the article in the campus paper. However, we've never had that kind of problem at our building. I've caught plenty of people looking at porn, but all they ever did was look.
