How did they so blatantly block people from voting? How did they shut down the democratic process in the state of Michigan? How did they destroy the unions? How did they rig the elections thru gerrymandering? How did they incite the gun grabbers and the racists to the point of threatening our elected leaders? How did they hornswoggle the voters into believing lies and fabrications about the economy and deficits, etc? How were they able to do so much damage to our country and our institutions?

And will only get involved when it's way too late. Damn the evidence. Damn the activists. Damn the destruction of our society.

The impending police state, against a background of a ruined environment won't even be enough to get many/most(?) people off their asses.

And BTW, my state will be hiring about 10-15K people to build drones...

I'm up for solutions. But we're fighting human nature here.
