The one about the couple is so depressing, though, in spite of the admirable love. Why did he have to lose his limbs in one of these invasion wars we wage? There's no reason for it.

The dog that is shown floating in Lake Superior in his owners arms is doing great. When the photo went viral, the photographer decided to sell prints to raise money for the dog's vet bills. She raised over $25K, allowing the dog to get expensive laser treatments on his arthritic joints. He's doing much better. It's given him a new lease on life! Here's his facebook page:
