Records show Detroit's emergency manager has tax liens on his Maryland home From The Detroit News:

Detroit — The man charged with fixing Detroit's faltering finances has been hit with four liens in four years from the state of Maryland for unpaid taxes, records show.

State records show Kevyn D. Orr, who was appointed emergency manager on Thursday, has two outstanding liens on his $1 million home in Chevy Chase, Md., for $16,000 in unemployment taxes in 2010 and 2011. Two other liens of more than $16,000 in unemployment and income taxes were satisfied in 2010 and 2011, records show.

Orr said he didn't know anything about the liens when shown records of them Friday morning by The Detroit News.

"I don't know what they are," Orr said, as his new boss, Gov. Rick Snyder, sat next to him in The News' offices. "That's surprising to me, to be honest."

He didn't know? Guess he needs an emergency manager of his own. I recommend Alfred E. Newman. marble falls Mar 2013 #6

When one country attacks another, don’t they use the weakest part of the population to do the real dirty work? I.E. enslavement camps?

These people have got to hit the streets....

Yeah, the tax thing is bad, but what the hell does he know about Detroit? Chevy Chase isn't even CLOSE to the demographic, economic, or wealth distribution of Detroit. The $1 million house alone should be proof of that. Detroit has something like 30% abandoned, condemned, or forclosed properties. It's a mess caused by Republicans, and a Republican governor put a Republican from an upscale Chevy Chase neighborhood in charge of running a Democratic city in Michigan. Ah, yeah, that makes sense.

As well, certain clients can decide someone is loyal, loyal to the riches of the rich. The client list does not have to be long to be moved from the chump change of first class to the chump change of private jet.

piece of shit like that. He's perfect for the job. How about pedophilia and/or five years behind on child support; he gets extra points for that too.
