I'm sorry to pass along the news that rbrnmw's father passed away this past Wednesday.
If you've been following the Help A DUer OPs here at DU and have seen her Wishlist post, she had asked for thoughts and prayers as her dad had been very ill.
I awoke to this message:
"My Father passed away at 7:33 AM on Wednesday. I took him to the ER on March 3 and they admitted him. He was there 5 days and my mother and I stayed with him at the hospital the whole time. My Mom didn't want to leave his side; she is disabled from diabetic neuropathy, so I had to stay with her and take care of her as well. They sent him home on Hospice a week ago Friday and I stayed here to give him his meds and take care of her. Now I am here full-time until we get Visiting Nurses and night Nursing Assistants. I don't have the strength to post an OP so if you can and want to, I would like to ask you as a favor to post one for me on DU because I know a lot of my friends here have been praying and sending kind thoughts.
Much love to everyone."
My sincere condolences, rbrnmw. Continued thoughts and prayers are with you and yours....

(7,160 posts)I can barely find words that would appropriately describe how touched I am by the love and compassion given here by my DU family.
Except to say thank you, peace and love to all,
Robin (aka rbrnmw)
PS last week I couldn't post because every-time I tried to typed I would dissolve into tears. Again thank you it means a lot to me and the rest of my family to know people care.
