Request from a "sacrifice zone" (PA).

There is a petition at http://wh.gov/kCA that is in need of signatures. The petition is attempting to apply pressure to close the loopholes that exempt natural gas drillers from the Safe Drinking Water Act and other environmental regulations.

Thanks for helping, and please share the petition with others.

Sorry, but I can't find it. I created an account (something you should mention in the OP) and hit the "Open Petitions" button. I don't see an SDWA petition. A little help?

The link took me right to the petition when i tested it just now, so I'm not sure exactly what's wrong. But the description on the petition is "Protect communities from the negative impacts of hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and natural gas drilling." It under the topics Energy/Environment. It was posted on January 25th.

And yes, I should've mentioned the need for a WH.gov account. Sorry.

Hope this helps, and thanks for sticking with it and signing!

If you are NOT logged in and have to create an account, the best you can do is view the 56 on the main "Open Petition" site and it is not one of them. Since I was logged in, I tried your link again, and yes, it does go straight to the petition. I was number 102 out of the 25,000 that are needed by 29 Feb. I think we may need to do a little more footwork here. Please cross-post this in the PA, OH, NY, MD, and WV groups.
