Maybe Susan Komen is trying to make a profit by defunding Planned Parenthood.

Think about that for a moment.

If they cut off funding to planned parenthood who provides affordable cancer screenings,
more women will have cancer. And more women will benefit from Susan Komen. Family members will be so thankful that Susan Komen is there that they will send donations.

I know this is far fetched but it is true. More women will be diagnosed with cancer if they are not screened.
Susan Komen helps women with cancer.

There are a lot of anti-choice groups who have harassed them over their prior contributions to Planned Parenthood.

This may not be a well liked thread but it is accurate.

How did these loons rise so quickly as to affect almost every thing pretaining to a woman's body? (rhetorical)

Ms. Ehrenreich is always high on our reading list. She is the next best thing to Molly Ivins whom we sorely miss.

For real. They give a hell of a lot less to real research than Michael Moore and Oprah probably do every year. Last I've read it was less than 10%, and they refuse to denounce products/businesses which have links to cancer (example BPA). I've been disgusted by them for YEARS. So glad they are getting blowback.

Anyway, as for your OP? It wouldn't surprise me at all. Who knows.
