by Barbara Morrill
Yes, Mitt Romney really said it:
Host Soledad OBrien pointed out that the very poor are probably struggling too.
The challenge right now we will hear from the Democrat party the plight of the poor, Romney responded, after repeating that he would fix any holes in the safety net. Its not good being poor and we have a safety net to help those that are very poor .?.?.
That would be the safety net that Romney and the rest of the Republican Party are doing their damnedest to slash and burn to pay for more tax breaks for millionaires and corporations (my friend).

(111,095 posts)He is not concerned about the very poor. The homeless, the handicapped, the jobless, the hungry - the safety net is there for them. As soon as Mitt is elected, these tax breaks will trickle down to them. He will guarantee it.

Now wealthy international companies, those he feels their pain. If you own or can live off the wealth invested in a company, then Romney cares about you because you are him.
