Scott Prouty: The Anti-O'Keefe

Last edited Thu Mar 14, 2013, 07:56 AM - Edit history (1)

Just finished watching the Ed Schultz interview with Scott Prouty, and I have to say I'm very impressed (and very pleased to say that he comes from my home state of Florida!)

I'm just taken at the stark contrast between him and another hidden cameraman, James O'Keefe. Or for that matter O'Keefe's patron, the late Andrew Breitbart.

No selective editing. No goofy costumes. No sleazy attempts to seduce reporters. No desire to ruin the lives or reputations of ordinary Americans. No on-camera hamming.

Just a matter of pointing and clicking record, so that we as ordinary Americans could hear in full what goes on behind closed doors amongst people who have insane amounts of money and political bargaining power, money and bargaining power that most of us couldn't even dream of having.

His humility and lack of desire to cash in on fame or notoriety could not stand as a more clear contrast from the self-aggrandizing, deceitful carnival barkers with cameras on the right.

We all owe him, as well as David Corn and James Carter IV, a huge, huge debt of gratitude.

So humble and so full of integrity! You can see it in his face, his words, and his expressions. Love this guy - just hope he doesn't have to face the backlash of the Republican wrath!

and of course while Joe Scum was all O'Keefe when he was spreading his lies about ACORN, I didn't hear a word about Prouty up to when I left home this morning and this was his employer's station's scoop.

Anyone who thinks that getting elected to public office should only involve secret meetings with wealthy donors.

painstakingly important process! He's like the best example of what America has to offer from her working class!

He saw close up and personal what mitt romney was and did Not want that for our country. And oh, as good fortunate would have it .. he had a vid recorder! Bless his heart!

Prior to this, he saved a woman whose car ran into a canal.

Just a stand up guy, indeed!
