This Wednesday, Homeowners, tenants, homeless families, and community members across the country are joining forces and launching "Homes for All", a new national housing justice campaign to call on the federal government and financial institutions to prioritize millions of peoples need for accessible, affordable, and secure housing that is controlled by the community.
We will be lifting up stories of two brave residents within our foreclosure and eviction free zone facing off with the banks to defend their homes:
***Jaymie Kelly vs Jamie Diamon CEO of Chase***
*** Jessica English vs John Stumpf, CEO of Wells Fargo***
9:30am: meet at 3753 11th Ave S - Action in support of Jaymie Kelly (coffee and refreshments provided)
4:30pm: meet at 3325 2nd Ave S - Action in support of Jessica English utilizing the boards that Wells Fargo illegally locked her out of the home with.

Last week Police tried to evict Jessica English, a working, single mother of four from a reclaimed foreclosed property that Wells Fargo abandoned. We will respond with an immediate message that we won't be intimidated. Wells Fargo has repeatedly broken into the home to illegally change the locks, ignoring due process necessary to carry out an eviction, so a 24/7 occupation of the home has begun.
3325 2nd avenue is a beautiful house that has fallen into disrepair and recently been used a a hub for drugs and other community-destroying activity. With the support of her neighborhood, Jessica and Occupy Homes cleaned up the house and reclaimed it for Jessica and her family. If Wells Fargo wants to do the right thing for Jessicas neighborhood, they need to give this property over to community control.

After falling victim to a predatory loan, Jaymie has made the decision to fight for the right to remain in her lifelong neighborhood. Chase Bank, while making profits of $21 billion, has refused to meet with her face to face and seriously discuss negotiation. We hope to get their attention this Wednesday.

(6,119 posts): Wells Fargo or MPD sneaking around Jessica's house, peeping in windows, and taking photos. It's easier just to knock on the door, sit down, and negotiate. "Like" and "Share" to expose this harassment. In addition, please make three phone calls that can stop this.
Please Call Michael J. Heid, President, Home Mortgage division of Wells Fargo at (515)213-6117 or email him at Michael.j.heid@wellsfargo.com to tell them to turn 3325 2nd Ave S over to the community to be used for affordable housing instead of letting it sit vacant creating blight in the neighborhood.
Call or email Mayor Rybak, (rt@minneapolis.org) 612 673-2100, ask him to prioritize the homeless over the big banks, and not to evict Jessica English from 3325 2nd Ave S.
Call Police Chief Hartau, (612) 673-3559, ask her not to use our public servants, paid for by our tax dollars, to evict Jessica English from 3325 2nd Ave S.
