Do you know anyone who maintains that Sandy Hook was a conspiracy?

That the REAL perpetrator of the massacre was our own government? (or the secret NWO government or the shadowy Illuminati government, depending on who you ask)

I did a YouTube search of Sandy Hook, and just about every video that popped up was a "debunking the hoax" video, complete with exhortations to the "sheeple" to wake up and rise against their "puppet-masters," and with plenty of supportive comments below.

But aren't these the same people who believe Big Government can't do anything right?

... who really believes that. Personally, if it was a conspiracy, I would be more inclined to suspect the gun/ammunition industry.

7. If you want a good laugh...

go on Google and type in Gunderson FEMA cars.

Honestly, they think that the government bought or is buying 102000 boxcars with shackles, ventilation holes, and a guillotine built into the end of the car. But, they have a few problems...

1. The car isn't a boxcar. It's an auto rack, built for carrying 24 SUVs each.
2. The shackles are for holding the car in place. Train cars do tend to rock and roll a bit in transit.
3. The ventilation holes are for lighting, so that the workers who drive the cars in can see.
4. The guillotine is a door opening/closing mechanism.
5. Where would you store 102000 freight cars, especially ones this huge?

And yet, the conspiracies continue to flourish.

Glad I'm in Canada, where our conspiracies have to do with, "Hey, was that a moose at Tim Horton's?"

8. There has been some confusion

due to the initially poor reporting and people seeing those reports weeks or months later and not knowing that they were old reporting.

On the rare occasions it comes up on the firearms related forums I read, it is smacked down hard by myself and others.

It WOULD help if they would release the final police report in something resembling a timely manner. I certainly understand and agree with the need to fully investigate everything, however as it stands now, the final report is not due to be released until sometime in June of this year.

9. A Facebook friend that we don't see much anymore

I wanted to unfriend her, but Mrs. Nevernose says it would be rude. Also, it's fun to read her posts and watch the slow descent into madness. Six yrs ago it was "I'm proud to be a Republican" even though she believed in the exact opposite of everything they believed. Then it was Obama's KenyanMuslimSocialism, then she became a Sandy Hook Truther.

Now that I think about it, they're trying to fire her for her erratic behavior around stidents. It's more sad than amusing.

10. Some people need these "conspiracies."

The universe is a chaotic place, and shit happens.
Some people don't like that.

So it's a "conspiracy" that:

JFK and RFK were killed
Sandy Hook and a movie theater got shot up
9-11 happened
John Lennon was killed
Jets leave condensation trails sometimes
People see a light in the sky and it's automatically a flying saucer
And so on...
