Did I just hear that the Cardinals will be staying in a nearby hotel????

I seem to recall, from my Catholic youth, that these guys got sealed into the Sistine Chapel, and the doorways bricked closed. Food got passed in through a prison-like slot in the wall. The slept on cots.

Now its hotels?

Did I hear that right?

I did hear that they are jamming cell signals during the conclave. They say it is to prevent leaking info out via twitter or phone calls, but i think they wanted cardinals to stay off the webcam from the gay sauna next door and pay attention to picking the next Infallible One

But they're picking the pope? They didn't even win the World Series last season.
