Freepers are wringing their hands tonight

Posted on Tue Jan 31 2012 20:31:12 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time) by Jim Robinson

How can any right thinking Christian, conservative or tea party supporter justify voting for Romney?

Romney is an empty suit. A complete fraud. Worse, he's anti-tea party, anti-conservative, anti-liberty! He has absolutely zero conservative accomplishments to his name. His ONLY accomplishments in government are liberal, ie, tax payer funded abortion, gay marriage, gun control, RomneyCare, mandates, etc. He is Obama-lite.

Are these voters uninformed, terrified, brainwashed, or just plain nuts?

IF it’s Obama or Romney, for which would you vote?

Not that I PREFER Romney...just asking.

I’m a right-thinking Christian conservative Tea Party supporting Floridian who is ashamed to be a part of this. I proudly voted for Newt, manned phones for a few hours this afternoon and even drove some folks to the polls.

Not sure if there’s much left of our Republic to warrant anymore fighting.

I don’t see how any Christian could vote for Romney at all, or any conservative vote for Romney either.

The guy thinks he is the fulfillment of prophecy and thus ‘deserves’ to be POTUS.

I’m disgusted by Florida.

Newt Gingrich won the Christian, Evangelical vote. There weren't enough of them.
.

This primary makes me sick. Newt was the happy warrior.

All positive with his 2012 Contract of real solutions, and he was running away with the nomination.

That wouldn't do! That interrupted Romney's 6 year plan for the presidency, so he went scorched earth and Santorum was the beneficiary in Iowa.

Now, instead of coalescing around Newt Gingrich to stop Romney, Santorum is attacking Newt Gingrich in Colorado and Nevada with scorched earth, but NOT attacking Romney!!

My wife just said she really dislikes Romney if he wins she will not vote. I don’t agree with not voting, I will vote for Congressman and Senators but I will find it hard to vote for Romney.

Romney will never get my vote and he can’t possibly name a VP to change my mind.

The TEA PARTY is for NEWT Gingrich.

NO enthusiasm for Romney.

NONE!

It’s all establishment and manufactured.

RINOS be damned. The GOP can GTH and take Romney with it.

When it comes down to it, the majority of people vote who they are told to vote for or who they are told will more likely “win” in the general election.
Mittens will most likely receive the nomination.

Those who believe in conservative, founding Father like principles should, on election day in Nov., vote for their local candidates in the county, state, and House/Senate races that they feel comfortable with.

But for President they/we need to make it known to the Repub. “Establishment” that their efforts will be for not. We should cast a vote for the Constitutional party or other conservative type candidate no matter how “fringe” people think they are.

If the country is to go down in flames in the coming years, let it be under Zero.

TWO, count 'em TWO uses of the word "warrant" from 2 different posters......

And BOTH uses were correct, spelled properly, and in proper grammatical context.

Words fail.

there are moles on FR; it's not too hard to get them riled up about things. The primary goal is to turn them against each other by encouraging their petulant natures. The average FReeper is little more than an overgrown 2-year old; thus it's not too difficult.

For instance, it's highly profitable to encourage their delusions about Sarah Palin, and recently, to encourage both the Gingrich and Santorum supporters to have at each other. It hopelessly divides them.

Cheers!

At least they realize that even though Mittens will win the Republican nomination, he's going to lose the General Election due to lackluster conservative enthusiasm.

Free Republic helps our cause more than it hurts at this point, if RimJob can convince many of his loyal sycophants to not vote for President in November.

their reactions. The wailing and gnashing of teeth is highly amusing.

I'm positive that if Romney is the GOP nominee, the majority of FReepers will indeed sit it out; they despise him just as much, if not more so, than President Obama.

And now, I'm going to go back there so that I may dance in the salty, delicious rain of their tears.

Hume thinks newt killed his son. His son committed suicide because newt and someone else were going to out an affair he was having with a married male congressman, so they say. I learned this here on FR. I’d think he’d have to recuse himself this election...

There is a huge fracture in the Republican Voting block right now. The Freepers and Tea Partiers hate Romney and see right through him. He's a phony and this is very real what they say about him.

Even if Romney picks a Tea Party VP there is a large group that will not support him.

It doesn't really matter who they pick if the economy continues to grow and unemployment continues to fall, they will be getting blown out in November.

that the GOP is further to the right than it's ever been in living memory - far more than in Reagan's day, or even in Gingrich's heyday. And this is the moment they choose to declare it's full of good-for-nothing closet RINOs and liberals and take their toys home.

I mean, Mittens' SuperPAC just completely DESTROYED Gingrich in Florida.

I mean totally and utterly.

No way he could compete with all those ads, they were brutal. I'm honestly surprised he finished as high as he did.
