Jeb revealed something really interesting about the family.

When asked about family baggage, he stated that he was proud of his brother, and said there was no baggage with George OR WITH HIS FATHER.

Now, why did he add in his father? He conceeded via that statement that his father has a checkered past.

He could have dumped all the family baggage on George W., but he named Poppy too.

Yeah he could have dumped on Dubya but his whole ridiculous point was there wasn't any baggage in the family at all.

Wouldn't make sense to trash Dimson and avoid mentioning the old man at all if that is the premise you're operating under.
