I don't see this as having anything to do with compromising, it appears to be more about whining. We whine when they took away DADT because we wanted Equal Marriage. We whined when they passed Universal Healthcare because we wanted Single Payer. We whined when they ended the war in Iraq because we wanted them to end ALL wars. We whined when they helped end a recession because they didn't go after Big Banks who helped cause the recession. We whined when they undid many of the Bush damage because they didn't go after and try to imprison the Bush Administration for war crimes.

We're a nation of whiners. By that logic, we can sit here and say that Rosa Parks was a huge failure, because she ONLY achieved bus seating. Those boys in that Woolworth were huge failures, because they ONLY got served at a lunch counter. All those people who were Freedom Riders, who got the shit beat out of them every day to demand a black person could sit in a waiting room of a bus station...huge failures.....because each of them KNEW the bigger picture was EQUALITY and instead, they chose small battles, compromise, little wins...are were too stupid to realize that change is not made by baby steps in this country, but instead should be an All or Nothing game...so now we can only call them COWARDS. Right?
