Increasing longevity...and paying for it. A quandary.

NPR had a segment on 'reservatrol' (?)
It'the stuff in grape skins that is supposed to be really good for you, fights and prevents diseases, etc., and now scientists say it may extend life expectancy.
A lot.

Here's the quandary:
I'm 71. I've planned my life and retirement so that (hopefully) I won't run out of money before I die.
But what if i had the choice to extend my life by 10 or 20 or even 30 years?
I sure haven't planned for that financially.
It's too late to start over now.
It's a puzzlement.
