Lets get something straight

Rand Paul does not oppose Drone use in the US because he is worried about citizens in general or because he's against it politically. Rand Paul is opposed to Drones because he is afraid they will be used against his right wing anti-government paramilitary friends. He could not care less about the rest of us. He is an anti-government, right wing extremist racist bigoted terrorist just like his daddy and even if he filibusters something the left does not like, he is not on our side, he is doing it purely for selfish reasons and we still have to stand against him and everyone of his kind.

I think he was just blasting his mouth besides the point.

He was filibustering a confirmation while going on and on about drones asking one single question.

"Does Drone Policy Allow the killing of a US Citizen in American Soil who is a non-combatant."

The answer to that is simply no, and if he bothered reading, he would have figured that out himself.
HE was basically making an issue out of nothing.

Sure, there are issues against drone usage, but the bottom line question he has is something that is easily answered, and he was just causing drama for the sake of doing so.

I'll give him credit for actually doing a long form filibuster, since that hasn't been done in more than a generation. However, he was out of topic and complaining about something besides the point on the confirmation.

State actual reasons against the confirmation of someone or whatever the topic is you are against before going off in a tangent.
