K & R If you want progressive gun control reform now...

...and you still don't care what the right-wing gun culture has to say against taking action to stop the horrible epidemic of violence in this country.

I would not call it progressive or conservative. This is not a right vs left issue to me.

and with that if it happens, I don't care about what happens with the guns that would not work anymore.

There is NO constitutional right to a bullet.

I want a new court, a new ruling, a reinterpretation and bullet free streets
with zero tolerance to any private person bringing a bullet into the streets.

I am uncertain about some of them, for example: Give law enforcement additional tools to prevent and prosecute gun crime.

I read the description, and I thought it was very vague. From your link:

In order to prevent and respond to gun violence, we must give law enforcement every tool they need to keep us safe. That includes passing stronger laws to stop those who would put guns into the hands of criminals, keeping 15,000 cops on the street, and eliminating restrictions that keep federal law enforcement from doing its job.

I'm in favor of gun control. "Gun control" means different things to different people.

... I'm not interested in regulating how guns can look, and that's what our party keeps pushing forward.

I do like most of the President's proposals. If someone proposed a semi-auto ban (rather than regulating what semi-autos can look like), I'd lean towards it.

Having popular legislation crash and burn in the House is one way to change voters' minds.

Why do you say you would support a ban on all semi-automatics when such a thing is impossible?

If I could simply decide what the laws were, I'd be open to the idea of banning semi-autos, or semi-autos with detachable magazines.

for good or bad. The line on the kinds of weapons people own needs to be drawn somewhere, and many seem to think there should be no line at all. Sure going back to muskets and revolvers might be ideal, but it's never going to happen in a million years. We might, however, be able to do something about weapons that fire 30 to 100 rounds in a minute.
