Pot, kettle: IMUS to O'LOOFAH, definition of a bully, "He thought he could get away with it"

sLimus has been on my Way Detestable list since I learned who he was at his torching of CLINTON at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, and I rejoiced when he finally caught up with himself and got shitcanned from MSNBC, upon which I gloried in the love-hate for the Morning Scabs replacement. And a large part of the glory was that sLimus was gone from my radar. But halfway through Campaign '12 I was DONE with the Scabs circus, same old guests, same same crap every day for two hours and one cheating re-run hour, and same topics. & I did the unthinkable, clicked over to sLimus and found a modicum of a missing element, VARIETY - just a modicum because all these circuses have their own same guests and topics - some idiocy, some zaniness, even a tiny bit of contrition.

So O'LOOFAH appears to be a frequent guest on the phone and sLimus kisses up to him, while doing what he does to all of his guests, which is to poke a stick in the eye after the kissing up set-up: Like when O'LOOFAH was peddling his hired writer's "Killing Kennedy," and bragged about his best seller record, and was complaisantly eating up all of sLimus' kissing up, when sLimus went in for the KILL and asked whether he knew the trivia about Bob SCHIEFFER and the JFK assassination, how SCHIEFFER got his start on the big time. O'LOOFAH went icy. What some of us know is that O'LOOFAH was "Big Footed" when he was a (his claim: ) a "WAR CORRESPONDENT" in the Falkland Islands "WAR." O'LOOFAH claimed to have done all the grunt "reporting" on a HUGH story and was expecting to get his face on the screen with it, but the network decided it called for a STAR, so SCHIEFFER was flown in to do the screen reading. So sLimus brought this up and O'LOOFAH was just icy.

But then sLimus did it to Doris Kearns GOODWIN, buttering her up about her scholarly books, then when she's all toasty, he asked her whether she had read O'LOOFAH's (non-scholarly) book, and she went icy and said no, and he asked her why O'LOOFAH's excremental books stay for two years on the NYT best sellers list and hers don't. Ha ha.

So O'LOOFAH had one of the maximum of all of his meltdowns last night, calling Alan COLMES a liar multiple times, screaming it at him, and poor COLMES just took it until he had to show a tiny bit of, er, gumption and said you-can't-call-me-a-liar, but didn't punch him or walk out, and O'LOOFAH barely recanted at the end, and later in the circus, STOESSEL told him he was "out of line" and was "obnoxious," and O'LOOFAH barely apologized on the grounds that he is "PASSIONATE" about (attacking OBAMA).

So this morning sLimus hashed it out, claiming that O'LOOFAH really is a really nice guy and only has this onscreen persona that is all an act, but went on to say that he "would never do that to me, COLMES should have punched him or walked out" and that O'LOOFAH only did it to COLMES "because he thought he could get away with it (with COLMES)."

Now, all of us here have known forever that O'LOOFAH is a self-deceived, deep-in-denial BULLY, and that's the definition: Does it to (weak ones) he thinks he can get away with it with. Later in last night's circus he went after a Harvard student journalist kid who was deer-in-headlights throughout, because the kid had called him a negative for Harvard, kid never had a chance. We've seen him do it countless times, can only imagine the studio work environment.

So sLimus' wife joked about how "we know" how SOMEBODY (guess who) can get really mad, "it happens."
